Cold weather across northern Europe with showers to the south

Low pressure is centred over Spain today. This is going to be bringing outbreaks of rain, some of them heavy over the north and east, and possibly thundery too. Cloud and outbreaks of rain over southern France, with some cloud extending into Switzerland too. Some showers in northern France, but the Low Countries and Germany will be dry and breezy, although cold.
Some heavy showers to come across Italy, and these could be thundery. More heavy showers through Greece, although Turkey should be largely dry with sunny spells. Dry for Bulgaria and Romania with some sunny spells to come here.
A fair day across the Baltic States with sunny spells here. There will be sunny spells for Finland and it should be dry. Remaining dry through Sweden and Denmark with plenty of sunshine, although some cloud and rain affecting the western coasts of Norway.

Heavy showers are likely across Spain and Portugal throughout today. These could be thundery at times. Cloud and some outbreaks of rain will be affect southern France, whilst the north should be dry with sunny spells. Some sunshine to come too across the Low Countries and Germany, as well as Poland.
Cloud and some spots of rain for northern Italy, but most of the country should be dry with some sunny spells. A few showers in northern Greece but dry elsewhere. Turkey is going to be seeing dry weather, but sunny spells here too.
To the north some cloud and rain will be affecting Denmark and southern Sweden, this extending in Finland. The Baltic States are likely to be dry with sunny spells. Windy showers across Norway, some of them heavy at times.
