Rain in south, showers elsewhere Friday.

Friday
The day starts cloudy for southern counties of Ireland, and possibly southwest England, with outbreaks of rain. Elsewhere the day will start fairly bright with occasional showers, these mostly towards the east coast, and possibly turning wintry over high ground in Scotland. Through the day rain will continue for the southwest with some showers in the eat being on the heavy side. Breezy in south. Maximum temperatures at 8-10C for most areas. Widespread frost developing overnight over Scotland.


Friday Night
Through the evening rain will clear from Ireland and south Wales but will gradually develop more widely over the south coast, and turning heavy overnight. Showers over the north and east will soon die away in the evening with mostly dry conditions following. Minimum temperatures at 3-5C in north and 6-7C in south.
 


Saturday
A low pressure system over France will give generally cloudy skies central and southern England and Wales with outbreaks of rain spreading north. Elsewhere it will be a much brighter day with occasional showers. Windy in south, but light winds elsewhere. Maximum temperatures at 8-10C for most, but 12C far south. However the cloudy skies, the rain and wind will give a cool feeling.


Sunday
Low pressure moves north with rain possibly developing more widely over the England and Wales. Expect some heavy outbreaks especially in the morning in south. Over Ireland and much of Scotland drier and brighter with occasional showers. Rain will start clearing from the south in the afternoon, with a few showers following. Windy in places with gales in exposure and over high ground. Temperatures rising to 9-11C in the afternoon.
