Very windy with strong westerly gales through the Straits of Gibraltar across through the Mediterranean with frequent and heavy showers. Very windy and unsettled across the Mediterranean into the Black Sea. Frequent, heavy and thundery showers will affect the Mediterranean Region along with Portugal, Spain and Italy into Greece, Bulgaria, the former Yugoslavia into the Czech Republic, Austria and Switzerland. Continued dry across Turkey with scattered showers across Romania. Plenty of showers to come across France, Belgium and the Netherlands, some heavy. Snow showers are forecast for western parts of Norway with heavy snow to fall across northern Finland with rain in the south. Mainly dry across Russia and across Belarus, The Baltic States into Poland and most of Germany.

The Mediterranean is going to remain very unsettled and windy with plenty of showers which will be heavy and thundery. These showers will also affect Spain and Italy. Heavy rain is forecast for the former Yugoslavia, Switzerland, Austria into Hungry, Poland, Belarus into the western Ukraine. Dry across Germany and northern parts of France but showers and rain is expected in the south of France. Dry across Belgium, Holland, Denmark but rather cloudy and chilly. Cold with snow and snow showers across Norway today. Across Sweden expect rain while heavy snow falls across Finland but clears the south by afternoon. Across Bulgaria and Turkey showers will be interspersed with dry, sunnier spells.
