Fine to the south but showers to the north

Saturday
Some heavy showers over northern parts of Spain and Portugal through today. The Balearics will be dry with lots of sunshine. Heavy and thundery showers through northern Italy but for the south it should be dry, hot and sunny. More sunshine to come in Greece and staying hot here.
Fair for the west and north of France, but heavy and thundery showers to the south and east. Dry for the Low Countries but heavy showers in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Poland as well as Hungary.
Heavy showers or longer spells of rain through Norway and Denmark.mainlt fair and very warm in Sweden. Dry, warm and with good sunny spells through the Baltic States and Finland.



Sunday
A fine day over most of Portugal and Spain. However, there will be cloud affecting northern Spain and Portugal with some heavy showers here. More hot weather across the central Mediterranean with plenty of sunshine in Italy. Sunny and hot for Greece and Turkey.
France is at risk of more cloud and some periods of rain in the west, these heavy at times. The Low Countries and northern Germany should be fair, but some heavy showers will affect southern and eastern Germany and Poland.
Across Scandinavia there will be heavy showers in Norway. However, Denmark and Sweden should be mainly dry with sunny spells here and fine conditions. Cloud and rain may reach the Baltic States and Finland, some of it heavy at times.
