Monday
An unseasonably mild day to across Britain and becoming quite windy through the day. A cloudy morning to come across much of the country with spells of rain across Northern Ireland, Scotland and northern England. This will be heaviest across western Scotland. Some hill fog and drizzle to affect Wales and south west England. It turns sunnier across Scotland in the afternoon with showers in the west. Light rain affects northern England and Wales this afternoon. Expect highs of 10 to 15 Celsius.


Monday Night
A breezy evening and night across Britain. In the evening a pulse of heavier rain runs in across Wales and parts of the south west. This then spreads into the Midlands and southern England in the night. Apart from showers across northern Scotland it's dry across the rest of Britain. Expect minimum temperatures of 4 to 6 Celsius across the north and 8 to 10 Celsius across the south.


Tuesday
It remains mild today. Overcast across the country today with sporadic outbreaks of mainly patchy and light rain or drizzle. The rain may be a bit heavier across northern Scotland and Northern Ireland while it turns dry across south east England and East Anglia. Once again the winds will be strengthening through the day. Gusts to 50 mph may affect the Irish Sea coasts in the afternoon. Very windy overnight rain in the north and west sweeps eastward in most areas. This will be heavy with gusts to 70 mph across northern Scotland. Expect high temperatures of 10 to 14 Celsius.


Wednesday
Another windy day with gales moderating during the day. A bit cooler across the country today but temperatures remain above normal. Cloudy for most areas this morning with showers and some rain in the far south clearing. Showers to affect western Scotland. A few breaks may allow some fleeting sunshine in the afternoon but generally mostly cloudy. Much of the country should be dry apart from showers for north west Scotland. Another area of heavy rain sweeps in across Britain tonight accompanied by strong south westerly gales. Look for high temperatures of 7 to 10 Celsius.
