Heavy snow for Finland, Russia

Today
A chilly day a cross eastern parts of Europe and Scandinavia with the warmest temperatures across southern Spain and Greece. An area of heavy rain to affect Portugal and western parts of Spain. Lots of fine, dry, sunny weather associated with high pressure areas will extend from eastern Spain and into France, The Low Countries, Britain, Denmark into Germany, Poland, Austria and the Czech Republic. Spells of rain are expected across north eastern parts of Italy and across parts of the Adriatic Region and Bulgaria. Some heavy showers may affect northern parts of Italy, northern Greece and Romania. Fine with sunny spells across southern Greece and Turkey. Some rain spills into southern parts of the Ukraine. Snow showers are forecast for Finland with heavy snow for northern Russia. Fair and dry with sunny spells across Sweden and Norway.



Monday
While chilly, lots of settled weather is expected across Europe. It continues dry with lots of sunshine expected from France into Belgium, The Netherlands, England, Denmark, Germany and Poland. A cloudy day across Portugal and Spain with a number of heavy showers. Mostly sunny and dry across the Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary and Croatia. Northern parts of Italy will be sunny and dry with heavy showers in the south. Rather cloudy across Greece, Slovenia, Bulgaria and Turkey with occasional showers. A fine day across Romania and the Ukraine. Outbreaks of rain are likely across the Baltic States with a risk of heavy snow across Russia and Finland. A dry, sunny day is expected across Norway and Sweden.
