Unsettled C Europe, rain & snow

Today
Very warm to hot, dry and sunny across Spain and Portugal today with southern areas the hottest. A number of showers are forecast across Britain, northern France, The Low Countries, Denmark and Germany with more persistent and heavy rain across southern Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic and Poland. Another cold, wintry day is expected across Norway, Sweden, Finland, The Baltic States and northern Russia with snow showers. It becomes dry across the Ukraine with early rain clearing the east. A mainly dry day across the Adriatic Region. Heavy rain is expected across Bulgaria with heavy showers across Greece. Further showers develop across Italy and a few as well across Turkey.

Tuesday
Cool across northern Spain but across central and southern parts of Spain and Portugal temperatures will climb into the low 30s. Colder across Europe with single digit temperatures from eastern France into Russia and Scandinavia. Most of Iberia will be dry with sunny spells. Perhaps some rain may affect north west Spain later. Dry across western France today with showers in the east. A few showers too across The Low Countries. Lots of showers are forecast for Germany and these will be of rain and snow. Heavy snow showers to come for Hungary, The Czech Republic and Austria. Expect rain through southern parts of Poland. A dry, cold day for northern Poland, The Baltic States, Belarus, western parts of the Ukraine, Romania and Bulgaria. A wet, cold day to come across the Adriatic Region with rain and some snow over the hills. Cloudy with spells of rain and heavy showers across Italy. Heavy showers to affect Turkey with a few showers too across Greece. Dry and cold across Norway and Sweden with snow showers expected across parts of Finland.
