Warmest across Iberia

Today
Today the warmest weather will be across southern Iberia. A cell of high pressure will give England, Spain, Portugal and France a fine, dry and sunny day. Lots of heavy showers are forecast across Belgium, Holland and Germany. Heavy rain is forecast for Poland, The Baltic States and Belarus with some heavy showers across the Adriatic Region. Much of Italy will be dry and sunny. Lots of warm sunshine will be on offer across Greece, Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey. Largely dry today across western Russia and the Ukraine. A number of showers to affect Austria and the Czech Republic. Brisk east winds prevail through the Straits of Gibraltar and breezy from the north west across the eastern Mediterranean. Gusty winds to affect Biscay and the western channel into western Britain.



Tuesday
Lots of fine weather to come from Portugal, Spain into France, England, The Low Countries into Germany with plenty of autumnal sunshine. An area of heavy rain lies from Russia into Belarus, the western Ukraine, The Czech Republic, southern Poland, Austria, the Adriatic Region and Hungary. A dry day is forecast across the eastern Ukraine, Romania, Greece and Turkey. Heavy showers will develop across Bulgaria and Albania. A fine, pleasantly warm day is expected across Italy. Quite cool across Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and northern Poland with a dry, mostly sunny day. Quite a windy day across Britain and northern France. Spain will again be quite warm.
