Dry across C Europe, the Balkans, the Adriatic

Today
The very cold weather continues across eastern parts of Europe today with high temperatures below freezing from Poland eastward into Russia. Heavy rain and gusty winds will affect Portugal and Spain with rain into France and Belgium. Cold with sleety rain across England. Fair and dry across the Netherlands and Germany. A dry day with sunny spells across Poland Austria the Czech Republic into the Adriatic Region and much of the Balkans. Most of Greece and Turkey should also be mainly dry with some sunshine. A cloudier day to come across Italy with light rain. Cold but dry across the Ukraine and Belarus. Outbreaks of snow are likely across Russia and the Baltic States. Expect a cold but dry day across Norway, Sweden and Finland. Scattered showers will be found in the eastern Mediterranean. A very windy day across the western Mediterranean, Iberia and France.



Monday
It remains freezing across the eastern half of Europe. An area of heavy rain across eastern Spain moves into western France with showers across Portugal and western Spain, some heavy. Some light rain persists across Italy today. High pressure will give a good deal of dry weather to Europe. A dry day with sunny spells across Belgium, The Netherlands, eastern France, Germany into Poland. Snow is expected to fall across the Baltic States, Russia and the Ukraine. Some snow too across Turkey with western Turkey dry. Fine and dry across the Balkans and the Adriatic Region with a few showers across the eastern Mediterranean. It continues cold but dry across Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland. Another windy day across western parts of Europe and across the western Mediterranean.
