UK Forecast - May 07, 2017
Cloudier, chilly in east
Sunnier, warmer in west

Monday
Overall it's a dry morning across Britain apart from some patchy drizzle that may be found around the coasts of eastern Norfolk, Suffolk and Kent. A few showers too over Grampian. Any bits of drizzle and showers will fade away by the afternoon with all parts dry. A north east wind will make it feel chilly across eastern parts of England and Scotland and here we may see a good deal of cloud through the day. Best of the sunshine is likely to be in the west so feeling warmer here. Expect maximums of 11 to 15 Celsius.

Monday Night
Through the evening and the night a few spots of drizzle may be found across parts of eastern Scotland but most parts of Britain will remain dry. Inland a good deal of the cloud will be melting away leaving some late evening sunshine for many. With lighter winds and clear spells, temperatures may fall just low enough in the north and west for a touch of frost in the countryside. Expect minimum temperatures of 4 to 6 Celsius but a few degrees below this in rural locations.

Tuesday
Not as windy today and we expect more in the way of sunshine so feeling less chilly. It will be a dry day across Britain. In the afternoon more cloud tends to develop across The Midlands and southern parts of England along with Northern Ireland. A fine evening is forecast with lots of late sunshine. It will stay dry overnight and again with light winds and clear skies we could see a touch of frost in rural areas. Expect highs of tops of 11 to 15 Celsius.

Wednesday
Quite a windy day to come along the channel coasts so feeling quite chilly here with the winds from the east. A dry day is expected across Britain. Most places start the day with sunny skies. More cloud moves in across northern parts of Britain through the morning and afternoon with the best of today's sunshine likely to be found across parts of Wales, The Midlands and southern England. A fine evening to come. Overnight and area of rain spreads in across the Northern Isles and the far north of Scotland. Perhaps some rain too might reach the far west of Cornwall by morning. Expect highs of 13 to 16 Celsius.
