Rain into northern Scotland

Sunday
A mild day to come across the united Kingdom. We expect a good deal of low cloud and mistiness through the day. Best of any sunshine may develop to the east of the Pennines in the afternoon. Much of England and Wales should be essentially dry with some morning rain across Cornwall and Devon tending to clear away in the afternoon. Outbreaks of more persistent rain spread in across northern Scotland and here it becomes very windy later in the afternoon. Expect highs of 8 to 11 Celsius.


Sunday
It becomes very windy across Wales into northern England and Scotland for the evening and the night. A mild but cloudy evening and night across Britain. Outbreaks of rain across northern Scotland in the evening then spreads into all of Scotland into Northern Ireland into north west England during the night. Elsewhere it's a dry night. Minimum temperatures of 5 to 8 Celsius.
 


Monday
A cooler day across Scotland but still mild for England and Wales. A windy day to come with rain spreading into most areas. This clears Scotland and Northern Ireland to showers, these wintry over the Scottish Hills. The rain affects East Anglia and the southeast in the afternoon with rain showers around western coasts. Another area of rain and wind to affect northern Scotland and Northern Ireland tonight with showers around western coasts. The rest of Britain will have a dry, windy night. Expect top temperatures of 5 to 10 Celsius.


Tuesday
A wet and windy morning to come but a dry morning across East Anglia and the south east of England. It turns dry across Scotland, Northern Ireland and the far north of England in the afternoon with the rest of England and Wales having outbreaks of rain. It stays cloudy into the evening and the night with sporadic outbreaks of rain in places, this turns more to snow across the hills of northern Scotland. Look for high temperatures of 8 to 10 Celsius.
