Tuesday
Freezing fog affecting central and southern parts of England this morning. There wil be further fog patches in northeast England too. The fog slowly lifts to leave the day dry. Cloud is going to be breaking with some bright or sunny spells coming through too. More western areas tending to see an increase in cloud with the wind picking up a little here too. There will be some outbreaks of patchy rain through Ireland, and these reaching western Scotland and perhaps affecting the hills of northwest England and the far west of Wales. Highs at a chilly 5C in southeast England but a milder 10C in the far west of Scotland and Ireland.


Tuesday Night
A frost forming through the Midlands, southern and eastern England tonight. A few fog patches too, these mostly in East Anglia and the southeast. Cloudier skies remain in Ireland and western Scotland and there will be some spots of drizzle here too. Drier elsewhere with broken cloud. Turning windy in Ireland and Scotland with the risk of some gales in the far west. Lows at -2C in eastern England, 5C in the cloudier west.


Wednesday
High pressure is to the east of the UK on Wednesday with low pressure to the west of Ireland. A cold south to southeasterly airflow affects much of England, Wales and eastern Scotland. Cloudier in the north and west with sunny spells in the east once morning fog patches have cleared. A windy day for Ireland, western Wales and Scotland. More cloud here and outbreaks of rain affect the far west of Scotland and Ireland throughout the day. Top temperatures at 4 ot 5C for most of the UK but 10C in western Scotland and 9C in Ireland and the far southwest of England.


Thursday
High pressure stays to the east with low pressure to the west on Thursday. Breezy again in western areas with rain affecting Ireland. There will be further outbreaks of rain in southwest England and over western parts of Wales and Scotland. More eastern areas tending to be dry with broken cloud and some sunny spells here. Feeling cold in the wind in the east but milder to the west. Tops at 4C in eastern England, 10C in Ireland.
