Wednesday
A fair and warm day over most of England, Wales, Ireland and eastern Scotland. It is going to be warm and there will be some good spells of sunshine developing. Thicker cloud in the far west of Ireland and western Scotland with some drizzle developing here. More persistent rain in western Ireland later. Sea breezes developing on coasts of England and Wales with temperatures reaching 19C in western Ireland and western Scotland, 26C in southeast England.

Wednesday Night
Patchy rain crossing Ireland overnight with heavier bursts of thundery rain arriving in the west of Scotland. This rain may reach western Wales and northwest England as well as the far southwest of England by the morning although most of this light and patchy. Dry elsewhere during the night with clear spels although cloud increasing in the north and west later. Lows at a muggy 11 to 15C.

Thursday
Fronts passing eastwards on Thursday bringing patchy outbreaks of rain across northern England and Scotland. There wil be cloud and patchy rain or drizzle in much of Ireland too, but especially the north. More southern parts of Ireland should be drier and brighter. Central and southern England and Wales should be dry although cloudier, but this broken with sunny spells in the far south. The risk of some drizzle over western and northern coasts of Wales. Highs at 18 to 25C.

Friday
High pressure builds to the south of England on Friday with lower pressure to the north. Fronts will be bringing cloud and rain into Scotland, some of it heavy in the northwest. Lighter rain in western and northern parts of Ireland. Drier to the east and south with sunny spells here. Over England and Wales cloud will be breaking with sunny spells developing, although low cloud may affect the coasts of western Wales and northwest England. The threat of drizzle affecting the hills of Cumbria and southwest Scotland. Tops near 17C in northern Scotland, 25C in southern England.
