Tuesday
Rather a cloudy start to the morning for much of the country. This cloud is likely to be more reluctant to clear than on recent days. Despite the cloud it will be fair through central and eastern areas with some brightness coming through. The best of the sunshine today is likely to be in the west and north. Ireland should be dry with plenty of sunshine throughout. Highs at 14C in the cloud, 17C where the sun comes through.


Tuesday Night
Skies are expected ot become clearer during tonight for many areas. There will be some thicker cloud in northern Scotland and this is going to be producing a few spots of rain here and there. Some cloud affecting the southeast of England too. Elsewhere, under the clear skies and light winds, temperatures will be falling sharply with the risk of a touch of frost. Lows at -2C in some sheltered areas, nearer 5C in northern Scotland.


Wednesday
Pressure starting to slip through Wednesday, although the overall flow is going to be rather variable across the UK and Ireland. There will be some cloud in central and northern Scotland, this producing a few spots of rain in the far north. Elsewhere it's a bright and dry day. Good spells of sunshine for much of England, Wales and Ireland. Temperatures will be reaching 10C in northern Scotland, 16C in the sunshine further south.


Thursday
Lower pressure to the south and west of the country today. Showery rain edging north through Ireland and into parts of Wales and southern England. Rather cloudy but mostly dry in northern England and much of Scotland, although there will be some showers over high ground here. A moderate southeast wind for all. Highs at 9C in northern Scotland, 14C in southern England.
