The rain will linger across East Anglia and the south east through the afternoon where it will be quite windy. Brighter, sunnier weather will follow from the west. The rest of Britain will be fine and dry with sunny spells through the day. Expect maximum temperatures of 14 to 22 Celsius.

Saturday night
The last of the rain clears East Anglia and the south east this evening as a batch of heavy showers runs in across north west Scotland. A fine evening to come across much of the country. These showers spread in across northern Scotland and Northern Ireland overnight. Dry across the remainder of the country with clear spells. Expect minimums of 9 to 12 Celsius.

Sunday
A warmer day today. Some morning fog patches to come across central and southern parts of England. These will clear to good sunny spells through the day. Light rain to affect northern Scotland and perhaps Northern Ireland. The reset of the country will be fine and dry with sunny spells. Light outbreaks of rain and drizzle will persist across Northern Ireland and northern England. Dry across the rest of Britain with clear spells and mist patches developing. Expect top temperatures of 19 to 25 Celsius.

Monday
Very warm and summery across Britain today. The best of the sunshine today will be across central, southern and eastern parts of England. A cloudy and damp day across Scotland and western Britain with light outbreaks of rain. Overnight light rain is expected from Scotland into north west England, Wales and south west England. Look for high temperatures of 19 to 26 Celsius.
