Windy, mild in the south

Sunday
It becomes increasingly windy across Wales and southern England and here temperatures will be mild. A few showers to come across northern and southern parts of England this morning while an area of rain spills in across Wales and south west England. Some good sunny spells this morning from the Midlands north into Scotland. It clouds over across much of England and Northern Ireland as outbreaks of moderate to heavy rain spread in through the afternoon. It remains dry with sunny spells for Scotland. Expect highs of 4 to 10 Celsius.


Sunday Night
Breezy through the evening and night. That area of rain will give England and Wales a wet evening. This clears into the North Sea by tonight leaving a good deal of low cloud and some patchy drizzle. Across Scotland it stays dry and a cold night here with a frost in sheltered glens. Expect minimum temperatures of 1 to 3 Celsius but up to 8 to 9 Celsius in the far south.


Monday
It becomes very windy again across western parts of Britain. Quite mild in the south. Another area of rain sweeps in across Northern Ireland, Wales and central and southern parts of England this morning with Scotland dry. A wet, windy afternoon to come with spells of rain for most areas. Through the evening and the night a heavier pulse of rain runs up across Wales into northern Britain with most parts staying wet with rain. Expect top temperatures of 3 to 11 Celsius.


Tuesday
Unseasonably mild with temperatures well above average across southern England. Another wet and windy day to come across much of the United Kingdom. The rain looks heaviest across western parts of the country. The winds moderate during the evening and the night. It stays wet through the evening and night but turning dry across Northern Ireland, Wales and south west England. Look for high temperatures of 8 to 13 Celsius.
