Windy, rain in west tonight

Sunday
Lots of sunshine around this morning. There will be occasional showers affecting Wales, south west England and northern western parts of Scotland otherwise it's a dry morning across Britain. Northern parts of England along with East Anglia and the south east may escape with a dry, mostly sunny afternoon. Some sunshine to across the rest of the country with some scattered showers here and there. These may heaviest across western Scotland. Temperatures will be close to normal. Expect maximums of 15 to 19 Celsius.


Sunday Night
Scattered showers across north east England, The Midlands and south west England should fade this evening with many places ending the day with some late sunshine. This evening though rain spreads in across Northern Ireland and The Western Isles. It becomes windy tonight, especially across western areas as outbreaks of rain spread in across Scotland and north west England while it becomes dry across Northern Ireland. Dry tonight across central and eastern parts of England with clear spells. Expect minimum temperatures of 9 to 13 Celsius.


Monday
An unsettled and windy day to come with gales developing in the western channel. Cloudy with spells of moderate to heavy rain in the morning across Scotland, northern England, Wales and south west England. A few showers may be found further east. A wet afternoon across England and Wales with persistent and heavy rain. Expect showers for Northern Ireland and Scotland. Spells of heavy rain persist across England and Wales in the evening and night and this may spread into southern Scotland. Expect highs of tops of 13 to 19 Celsius.


Tuesday
An area of deep low pressure is expected to move across Britain bringing a very windy, chilly and unsettled day. Heavy rain across central and eastern parts of England may persist for a good part of the day with a number of showers in the west. Rain clears all but northern Scotland this evening and here it lingers overnight. A few showers may affect western coasts into the night but mainly dry across England and Wales. Expect highs of 13 to 16 Celsius.
