Showers in east, chilly wind
Rain into far south later

Sunday
Feeling quite chilly across the country today with brisk winds from the east. We expect lots of cloud to come across eastern parts of the United Kingdom with occasional showers across north eastern parts of England and across eastern Scotland. Just the odd shower may affect the coasts of East Anglia and the Humber. Elsewhere it looks mainly dry with sunny spells and occasional large amounts of cloud. Cloud thickens to the south and rain may reach Cornwall by the end of the afternoon across the south west it will be very windy. Expect maximums of 8 to 13 Celsius.

Sunday night
Quite windy across the country for this evening and overnight, more so in the far south of England. An area of rain fragments and turns lighter as it moves into the extreme south of England in the evening drifting a bit further north into South Wales and the South Midlands overnight. Occasional showers will pepper eastern Scotland with the rest of Britain dry and not as chilly. Expect minimum temperatures of 5 to 10 Celsius.

Monday
It continues breezy across the country today with that chilly wind from the east persisting. Across Wales and the southern half of England will be cloudy and misty with outbreaks of mostly light rain. To the north it is expected to largely dry with some sunshine and a good deal of cloud. Generally it becomes dry before evening with just a few showers around some eastern coasts this evening and overnight. Expect top temperatures of 8 to 13 Celsius.

Tuesday
Today we start to lose those cold east winds so it wont be feeling as chilly as previous days. For most parts of the United Kingdom high pressure will give a dry day with a mixture of sunny spells and cloud. Best of the sunshine may be across western Scotland, western Wales and north west England. It becomes quite windy in the evening and night across northern Scotland and rain spreads in across Northern Ireland and much of Scotland during the night. With light winds and clear spells a number of fog patches may develop across central and southern England. A frost may also develop across rural areas. Look for high temperatures of 10 to 15 Celsius.
