UK Forecast - September 15, 2016
Thunder south later
Patchy drizzle west

Friday
A damp morning in central and eastern areas with periods of rain. Becoming brighter to the west as a ridge of high pressure builds, just one or two showers in the far west of Ireland. Some thundery bursts of rain in northeast England, the East Midlands, East Anglia and the southeast with this rain only slowly edging eastwards. Fresher weather moves in with the rain. The rain may not clear eastern coasts during the day. The brighter weather affects many central and western parts in the afternoon, although again there could be an odd shower it should be mostly dry. Temperatures at 15 to 19C

Friday Night
Rain should fade from the coasts of East Anglia and southeast England tonight, although this may be a slow process. Drier and cooler for all other parts under clearing skies. Mist or fog patches forming in more rural parts by the morning. Lows near 7 to 11C.

Saturday
A ridge of high pressure building through the UK and Ireland on Saturday. This is gong to be bringing a mostly dry day with good spells of sunshine. Increasing cloud in western Ireland and the west of Ireland, perhaps with an odd spot of drizzle by the evening. Lower pressure to the east of East Anglia may be close enough to bring some outbreaks of rain across East Anglia and the far southeast of England although confidence in this is low. Highs at 15 to 20C.

Sunday
Pressure stays fairly high across much of England and Wales. There will be morning mist and fog patches, but these clearing to leave a dry day for most with sunny spells. Thicker cloud and periods of rain extend through Scotland and Ireland as a front passes eastwards. Brighter weather reaches western Scotland and western Ireland later. Tops near 14 to 21C.
