Thursday
A large area of low pressure remains west of Ireland on Thursday. Further fronts push northwards over Ireland and the UK taking some heavy bursts of rain with them. Showers will follow the fronts, some of which may also be heavy and thundery in nature. A smaller area of low pressure may move into southwestern areas which could bring very heavy rain and gales for a time to parts of the West Country and Wales. High temperatures widely at 12 to 16C, just 10 to 11C in southwest England and along eastern coasts.

Thursday Night
There will be further rain for western areas through the night with some heavy bursts expected over western Ireland, Scotland, Wales and the West Country. Showers will follow into Ireland closer to daybreak. Clearer skies and drier over eastern parts of Scotland and much of England. Overnight lows around 5 to 9C, cooler in rural areas.
 

Friday
A trough of low pressure extends across the northwest on Friday while a smaller area of low pressure tracks across southern Ireland. This will bring heavy rain and gusty winds to Ireland through the afternoon reaching Wales by the evening. It will be showery across the island of Ireland through the morning prior to this. Western Scotland will be rather wet throughout the day while a band of rain will work from west to east across Wales and England. This should clear to leave a dry and bright evening in the south of the UK. A mostly dry and bright day in the northeast of Scotland. Highs at 13 to 15C in the east, 9 to 12C in the west.

Saturday
An area of low pressure tracks across the southern UK on Saturday bringing heavy rain to England throughout the day. It will also bring heavy rain to Wales through the morning and across eastern parts of Scotland through the afternoon. It will be a showery day for Northern Ireland and western Scotland though there will be some good sunny spells here too. A windy day for western coastal areas and through the English Channel. Temperatures at a chilly 9 to 11C in the west, 12 to 15C in the east.
