Thursday
Showers in Wales, central and southern England this morning, the showers heavy at times. Brighter and drier weather into Wales and northern England with some sunshine. Showers in northern and western Scotland as well as much of Ireland, this prolonged and heavy at times. This afternoon sees s further mix of sunshine and showers, most in southern England and southern Wales. Showers continuing in western Scotland, the north and east of England as well as northwest Scotland. Breezy for all and cool in the breeze, highs at 11C in western Scotland, 20C in southern England.


Thursday Night
Showers fade from much of England and Wales tonight leaving clear skies. Some heavy showers in western Scotland throughout the night. Isolated showers over Snowdonia and Cumbria. Lows at 6 to 10C.

 
 
 


Friday
Low pressure to the north of Scotland on Friday with a ridge of higher pressure building to the south. Some showers in much of Scotland, especially central and northern areas. Drier in the south with sunny spells, just a few showers developing here. Many areas should stay dry. Temperatures at 12 to 20C.
 


Saturday
Pressure is likely to be staying high on Saturday, although the anticyclone is east of the UK. This allows from a dry morning for most with sunny spells. However, increased cloud in western parts of the UK and Ireland with the chance of a shower forming here. The afternoon could see some more persistent showers in eastern Scotland and eastern England, isolated showers to the west. Tops at a warm 23C in southern England, 16C in northern Scotland.
