Thunderstorms in the eastern Mediterranean as well as across easter Spain.

Friday
A few local thunderstorms popping up in the far east and northeast of Spain, otherwise Spain and Portugal will be dry and fine with plenty of sunshine. Hot too with highs close to or reaching 40C. Sunny spells and local heavy showers developing across Italy and Sicily. Widespread thunderstorms across Greece but staying dry, sunny and hot across Turkey.
Dry and fine with plenty of strong sunshine across France, the Low Countries and Germany. Feeling hot here too. Poland will see scattered showers develop, mainly focussed across the north and east. Sunny spells and showers also affecting Austria and Switzerland, particularly focussed on the Alpine region here. A few showers for the Balkan States too.
Largely settled with dry and sunny weather across Scandinavia, though some patchy rain across parts of Norway with windy conditions in the very far north. One or two showers drifting into Lithuania by evening.

Saturday
Widespread thunderstorms developing across north and east Spain later today, one or two may just reach Ibiza, otherwise dry and sunny through the Balearic islands. Thunderstorms also breaking out across southern Italy into the Blakns and northern regions of Greece. Elsewhere will be largely dry and fine.
Staying settled and hot with highs reaching well into the 30s, a few places 40C across much of France, the Low Countries and Germany. Scattered showers through eastern Europe, some locally heavy.
Hot across Denmark with strong sunshine and dry weather. Settled, dry weather continues through the Baltic states and much of the rest of Scandinavia, though it continues to be windy with patchy rain and cloud across the north of Norway.
