Sunday
A fair day with plenty of sunshine in the Midlands, eastern and southeast England. Plenty of sunshine after morning mist patches clear. More cloud in northern and western parts of the country with some spots of rain and drizzle affecting western coasts and hills. Some bright spells in eastern Ireland too, but cloud and drizzle over western coasts. This afternoon sees more sunshine in central and eastern areas of England, although staying cloudier to the west with some hill and coastal drizzle. Moe persistent but showery rain into western Scotland and Ireland with a brisk southwest wind in western Scotland. Highs at 26C in eastern England, 22C in eastern Ireland, 18C over western coasts of Ireland, Wales and Scotland.

Sunday Night
Broken cloud in central and eastern England. A band of cloud and showery rain slips south through Scotland and into northern England, northern and western Wales by the morning. Drier, fresher weather follows to Scotland and Ireland. Staying dry and mild to the south and east. Lows of 5C in central Scotland, nearer 14C in southeast England.
 

Monday
A cold front extends through northeast England, Midlands, Wales and southwest England on Monday. This brings cloud and some outbreaks of light, showery rain with it, the whole area edging very slowly southeast through the day. Fresh and brighter weather affecting Scotland and Ireland as well as northwest England. Staying sunny here in the afternoon. Broken cloud across southeast England and staying dry. Highs at 26C in southeast England, but 15 to 18C behind the front.

Tuesday
A northeast flow and the remains of the front over southern and eastern England. Cloud here and mainly dry, a few spots of rain in the far east. Most other areas dry with sunny spells although a few showers could affect western Scotland and western Ireland. Highs at 23C in southern England, 15C in northern Scotland.
