Thursday
A widespread frost to start the day across most of the UK and Ireland. Plenty of sunshine though and dry for most. Staying fair with more sunshine into the afternoon although feeling chilly for all. Cloud will be increasing across western Scotland and Ireland during this morning and into this afternoon and this will be bringing some drizzle onto western coasts and hills later. Highs at 3CX in northern Scotland, 5C in southern England and 8C in Ireland.


Thursday Night
A frosty night again across central and southeastern parts of England although the frost not as severe. Thickening cloud and an increased wind brings rain to Scotland and Ireland with some heavy bursts in the west. Staying dry over most of England and Wales, although patchy into northwest England and the far west of Wales by morning. Lows near -2C in the southeast, 7C in western Scotland and Ireland.


Friday
Pressure remains generally high across the UK and Ireland on Friday. However, a front is going to be bringing cloud and rain through most of southern Scotland, Ireland, northern and central England and Wales. The far south of England probably stays dry although with increased cloud. Drizzle over western coasts of Cornwall and Deven. Becoming drier in Scotland although always a far amount of cloud in the west. Highs at 8C in northern Scotland, 5C in England and Wales.


Saturday
Pressure stays relatively high over the UK and Ireland on Saturday. A weak front persists through southern Ireland, southern Wales and southern England. This is going to be bringing murky and cloudy conditions with outbreaks of light rain and drizzle. Drier for northern England and Scotland with some bright spells, the best of these in the east. Highs at a milder 7 to 11C.
