A few outbreak mof showery rain in western Scotland, but mostly dry with some sunshine elsewhere. Showers into this afternoon through many areas, more persistent rain possible affecting Scotland and Ireland. A further area of rain is likely to be troubling southwest England. Highs at 11 to 18C.

Rain affecting southern and southeast England tonight. Some showers and rain in Scotland and Northern Ireland. Drier for other areas wil broken cloud. Clearer skies in northwest Scotland. Lows near 3 to 7C.

 
 
 

Saturday
Low pressure over the Low Countries on Saturday. This brings coud and periods of rain to the southeast, this perhaps lasting throughout the day. Scattered showers and sunny spells elsewhere, most running down the central spine of the country from the hills of Scotland to the high ground of southern England. Tending to be drier and sunny to the west, but some showers in central Ireland. Highs at 11 to 17C.

Sunday
High pressure centred over the country on Sunday. This brings a fair morning with good spells of sunshine. Staying fair into the afternoon with more sunny spells. There will be some isolated showers developing, mostly in Wales and the Midlands as well as over the Pennines. A threat of some cloud and showery rain in the far north of Scotland. Chilly over eastern coasts. Highs at 12 to 17C.
