Bright in south
Cloudier north

Saturday

Cloud should break with some bright spells coming through across much of Wales and southern England in the afternoon, although northern England, eastern England and Scotland are likely to stay with more cloud. Breezier weather in ireland and western Scotland allows for more breaks in the cloud here, although rain will be arriving in western Scotland later. Highs at 15 to 22C.

Saturday Night
A band of rain pushing slowly eastwards through Scotland and western Scotland overnight. The winds will be easing in the west. Elsewhere it is going to be a dry night with broken cloud, although the southerly breeze prevents temperatures falling below 8 to 13C.

Sunday
A front is expected be lying from western Scotland to southwest England on Sunday. This brings damp weather with cloud and outbreaks of rain to these western areas throughout the day. More central and eastern parts of the Uk should be dry with some sunny spells, although the rain edges into the Midlands and much of northwest England through the afternoon. Brighter and fresher in Ireland with sunny spells and a scattering of showers here. Highs at 23C in the sunshine in southeast England, 15C in the rain in west Wales and 12C in western Scotland.

Monday
The remnants of the front remain north to south through the UK on Monday. This brings many areas a cloudy and damp start to the day. There will be some drizzle or light rain especially in southern England, the Midlands, northwest England and western and central Scotland. This rain and drizzle area should fade into the afternoon. Drier to the east and perhaps brighter too, although rather murky. Ireland should be brighter and dry with sunny spells. Tops at 15 to 21C.
