Thursday
Broken cloud through most of the UK and Ireland today. Areas of cloud will be floating around and these will bring some showers onto eastern coasts this morning. Tending to be drier and brighter to the west. This afternoon sees scattered showers in central and eastern areas. Further broken coud for most but some bright or sunny spells as well. The best sunshine in northwest Scotland and southwest England. A cool day with temperatures around 9 to 11C in cloudier areas, a milder 13 or 14C in parts of the southeast.

Thursday Night
Scattered showers affecting eastern coasts of England and Scotland tonight. Drier for other areas with broken cloud. Clearer skies are likely in parts of western Scotland, western Wales and the west of England as well as Ireland. Lows around 3C under clearer skies, 7C in cloud.
 

Friday
High pressure to the north of Scotland bringing an east to northeast flow over the UK and Ireland. There will be showers over eastern coasts, some of these spreading through southern and southeast England too. A brighter day in Wales and western England as well as western Scotland. Bright again in Ireland with sunny spells here but some showers could be affecting eastern coasts. A cool day with a touch of morning frost in Wales and central Scotland, tops near 9 to 11C for most but 13C in southeast England.

Saturday
A slack pressure flow over the UK and Ireland on Saturday. There will be areas of broken cloud, mostly in the north and east with much dry weather. A few showers in eastern areas. Cloud and some outbreaks of rain in southern Ireland and southwest England. Further showers in the north and northeast of Scotland. Some sunshine to come in western Scotland and perhaps western parts of Wales. Highs at 9 to 12C.
