Monday
A band of cloud extending through eastern Scotland, northern England, the Midlands, Wales and southwest England this morning all associated with a weakening front. It may give some rain, most of it light. Drier and muggy across eastern England. Fresher, brighter weather follows the front into western Scotland and Ireland, although scattered showers on western coasts and hills. The afternoon sees the front slipping further east, triggering the threat of some thundery bursts of rain along is, all the way from southern England, the Midlands and into northeast England; the heavier bursts of rain should be well spaced out. Staying dry and muggy in east Anglia and southeast England. Sunnier skies in Scotland, Ireland, western Wales and southwest England as the fresher air moves in here. isolated showers again in western Scotland and western Ireland. Highs at 30C in southeast England, 17C in Ireland and western Scotland.

Monday Night
Some bangs and wallops of thunder in eastern England at first this evening, but these clear into the North Sea. Generally drier and fresher weather for all, just the low chance of a shower in western Ireland. Lows at 5C in central Scotland, 15C in southeast England.
 

Tuesday
Starting fair for many on Tuesday morning with low pressure to the northwest and a west to southwest flow across the UK and Ireland. Showers are likely to be triggered during the morning and afternoon and some of these may be heavy. The showers tending to fade in western area, except the far northwest of Scotland, from mid afternoon. Highs at 25C ub East Anglia, 17C in Ireland and western Scotland.

Wednesday
A light westerly flow on Wednesday under relatively higher pressure. This should bring a fair day for most with sunny spells. Isolated showers forming in the afternoon, these mostly over the hills of Wales, western England and western Scotland. Similar temperatures at 17C in western Ireland and western Scotland, 25C in southeast England.
