Thursday
Rain this morning through northern England, Wales and the Midlands. ome of this will be heavy and thundery. Drier in the far south of England although some thundery showers in the southeast. Western Scotland will be drier and brighter, although some rain affecting the east. Showers and outbreaks of rain over a mostly cloudy Ireland. This afternoon sees the heaviest rain in eastern parts of Scotland and parts of northeast England, with another area of rain through the eastern and southern Midlands, and southern England, all heading into East Anglia. Turning brighter and drier to the west with a few sunny spells developing. Breezy for many with highs at 9 to 11C for many in the northern half of the UK, 13 to 15C in Ireland and the southern UK.

Thursday Night
Rain passes through eastern Scotland and then into northern and western Scotland tonight, where it will be heavy. A few showers affecting western coasts and hills of England, Wales and Ireland. Isolated showers elsewhere. Staying breezy over Northern Ireland, northern England and Scotland. Lows at 6 to 11C.
 

Friday
Low pressure is off northwest Scotland on Friday, bringing a cloudy and wet day here. Bands of showers developing in England, Wales and Ireland during the day, these becoming slow moving, heavy and thundery. Most of the showers tending to transfer east as the day moves on with some and brighter drier weather developing in the west. More persistent rain may affecting Ireland in the afternoon. Temperatures at 12 to 14C in Ireland, Scotland, Wales and northwest England, but 17 to 21C in eastern and southern England.

Saturday
Low pressure is over and to the west of Ireland on Saturday. Areas of heavy and thundery showers affecting Ireland. A further area of rain, some of it heavy, moves into western Ireland, western Wales and southwest England during the morning. Brighter over eastern and central areas, a few isolated showers in the south though. Probably turning wetter from the west during the afternoon as more persist rain passes slowly east. Perhaps dry in northeast Scotland until dark. Tops at 22C in southeast England, 14C in the west.
