Tuesday
A mild day to come for all on Tuesday. Quite a breezy day with a fresh to strong south-westerly wind. Western coast and hills will be played by low cloud and drizzle, with the risk of some more persistent rain affecting western Scotland. Most eastern and southern areas should be dry although always with a fair amount of cloud but perhaps one or two brighter spells coming through. More drizzle could trouble the south coasts of England as well as southern and western coasts of Ireland. Highs at 12 to 15C.

Tuesday night
Staying fairly cloudy through the night across most areas with further drizzle around western and southern coast. It may be that some clear spells develop across more eastern and southern areas later in the night. At the same time more persistent rain crosses Ireland and reaches the west of Scotland, becoming heavy at times. Remaining breezy across much of England and Wales although the wind is lighter in Scotland and Ireland. Lows at 9 to 11C.

Wednesday
A bright morning across East Anglia and South East England. Fronts will be bringing rain across much of Scotland and Ireland on Wednesday morning, this then passing into western Wales and west of England through the morning and afternoon. The rain should clear east, with some gusty winds too. Colder, showery, but brighter weather follows through western Scotland and northwest England as well as the north and west of Ireland. Breezy in western areas too. High temperatures will be to 13 to 15C in England and Wales, but 9C in Scotland and Ireland.

Thursday
A colder north-westerly flow will be affecting all parts of the UK and Ireland on Thursday. Wintry showers in central and northern Scotland, a few of these affecting a high ground of northern England too. Further showers over northern coast of Wales and parts of Northwest England. For most other areas it will be bright and cold with sunny spells, rather breezy in the east. Later in the day rain will arrive in the west of Ireland. Highs at 5 to 9C.
