Sunday
A damp start to Sunday morning across Wales, the Midlands and much of Southwest England with low cloud and missed shrouding hills and coast here. A fair amount of cloud further east as well but outbreaks of rain will be developing, some of them thundery and for many it will be a damp afternoon across much of England and Wales. Perhaps turning brighter in the south later.Much brighter for Scotland and for Ireland at first, although cloud increases bringing one or two showers over the hills through this afternoon. Highs at 22C in East Anglia and southeast England, 18C in Ireland and western Scotland.

Sunday Night
Outbreaks of rain across many northern and eastern parts of England on Sunday evening, but tending to turn drier across central and southern areas with some mist by the morning. Low cloud and fog could affect western coast and hills. Staying damp overnight across much of North East England as well as the far south east of Scotland. Drier for other areas, always more cloud in the west. Lows at 8 to 12C.

Monday
A rather misty and murky start to the day across many parts of the UK on Monday morning. There may still be some residual rain left over eastern coast of England and Scotland. Spots of drizzle can't be ruled out elsewhere, but the cloud will be breaking with some bright or sunny spells coming through as the morning progresses. Generally brighter in Ireland and dry apart from some drizzle in North East Ireland, and the risk of some rain in the far southwest. Monday afternoon tends to be brighter across many western parts of the country, although the east may well stay dull and damp throughout. Further cloud in Ireland, some sunny spells in the east, but some drizzle over western coasts. A few showers breaking out in central Scotland. Highs at 17 to 24C.

Tuesday
High pressure to the east on Monday with lower pressure to the west. Broken cloud and sunny spells for many in the morning. However, showers may quickly develop in central and southern parts of England and Wales. These spread and develop further north as the morning progresses, with the risk of some heavy and thundery showers into the afternoon. Tending to be drier in eastern Ireland and western parts of Scotland, Wales and southwest England, although some low cloud on coasts here. Highs at 18 to 23C.
