Sunday
A quiet day with sunshine and well broken cloud. Dry for the majority of the British Isles. Patchy rain around the far western fringes of Ireland, and western islands of Scotland. A cool easterly wind continues to affect the south and southeast, feeling particularly chilly near coasts. Top temperatures ranging from 8C in East Anglia, to 10 or 11C central areas, 13C favoured spots in the west.

Sunday night
Dry overall. Some high level cloud in the far northwest. A brisk southerly wind for Scotland and Northern Ireland, whilst an easterly continues to affect areas near the English Channel. Light winds in central Britain combined with clear skies will allow widespread frost to form. Lows down to -1 to -3C or locally below in sheltered valleys. Towns nearer 0 to 3C, and generally above freezing around coasts.

Monday
High pressure located east of Britain maintains generally dry conditions across the country. A southeasterly breeze affects the south, whilst a strengthening southwesterly affects the north & northwest. Fronts passing to the north & west of Scotland bring thicker cloud and patchy rain to the far northwest. Otherwise, after a chilly start, it's a dry and bright day with sunny spells. Highs 8 to 13C.

Tuesday
High pressure stays in charge, but fronts to the northwest affect northwest Scotland, with cloud and outbreaks of rain here, which may be persistent for the Western Isles and northwest Highlands. Southwesterly winds in the north, mild south to southeasterlies in southern Britain. Dry overall for most places, with broken cloud and sun. Starting with frost, particularly rurally. Highs 10 to 15C.
