Dry weather settling in
Warmer days, cool nights

Sunday
High pressure influences the country, resulting in a fair day overall. Cloud will tend to bubble up through the day inland, whilst coastal fringes will be sunniest into the afternoon with slight sea breezes. Light and variable winds for most places. A cool start with local mist patches, but temperatures rising higher than recently, up to 14 to 18C, warmest in the south and west.

Sunday night
Dry and clear for most of the British Isles overnight. The far northwest may see more high cloud spilling in from the Atlantic, perhaps locally murky in northwest Scotland, but it will stay generally dry. Light winds. Some mist patches forming in low-lying central areas. Lows 2 to 5C, locally lower in rural areas, with slight frost possible in prone spots by dawn on Monday.

Monday
High pressure centred to the east of England brings dry and fairly sunny weather to all regions of Britain. Weak fronts passing to the northwest of Scotland may give a bit more cloud and small chance of drizzly rain to the western Isles. A light south to southeasterly breeze. Temperatures rising after a cool start to 15 to 18C, locally warmer to the lee of high ground in the north & west.

Tuesday
High pressure resides to the east of Britain, promoting a southeasterly airflow across the country into midweek. Light winds overall, although southwestern coasts may be breezier. A lot of sunshine, a slight haze. Local mist patches from dawn. Highest temperatures toward the north and west in shelter to the lee of the hills, widely 16 to 20C, locally a little warmer.
