Sunday
Any early showers across northern parts of England tend to die out this morning. A cold, frosty start across Britain but this may be patchy across southern England. An area of showers moves into eastern parts of Scotland later this morning and into the afternoon. The rest of Britain will have a dry day with a fair amount of cloud. Best of the sunshine may be in the afternoon across Northern Ireland, Wales and south west England. Expect highs of 4 to 8 Celsius.


Sunday Night
In the evening the showers near the eastern coasts of Scotland will fade away. A fine, dry evening across much of Britain as much of the cloud breaks up. Overnight it becomes windier and cloudier in the far west. The bulk of Britain will have a cold, dry and mostly clear night and with light winds, we can expect a widespread frost along with some patches of dense fog by morning. Expect minimum temperatures of 0 to -2 Celsius but up to a milder 6 Celsius across Cornwall.


Monday
Milder and increasingly windy across the country today. An area of moderate to heavy rain spreads in across Northern Ireland, Wales western Scotland and south west England. Any dense fog across central and eastern areas will clear as the winds pick up and here some sunshine is likely. In the afternoon that rain in the west spills eastward into perhaps all but East Anglia and Kent. Through the evening the rain clears from the west but lingers across northern Scotland overnight. Expect high temperatures of 4 to 11 Celsius.


Tuesday
A breezy with a number of showers forecast across western parts of Britain. Most central and eastern areas should be fair and dry with spells of sunshine. Any showers soon fade early this evening as high pressure build in from the south west. Expect a dry, cold and clear night with a widespread frost and some locally dense patches of fog. Look for high temperatures of 5 to 10 Celsius.
