Thursday
Persistent and at times heavy rain continues across northwest England, south and east Scotland, Wales and into and across southwest England through the morning. Gradually clearing from Scotland in the afternoon but continuing elsehwere. An increasing risk of flooding in these areas. Drier and feeling mild across central, southern and eastern parts of England. Also drier for much of northern Scotland and Northern Ireland although western parts here are expected to see showery rain. A mild day once more with highs of 13 to 17C for England & Wales, 10 to 12C across Scotland & Ireland.

Thursday night
Rain continues overnight in the west and by Friday morning pushes eastwards across and into central and southern parts of England, southeastern regions should remain dry. Scotland as well as Northern Ireland and Ireland also seeing rain spread northwards here again. A mild night again with lows only down to 8 to 10C in NW Scotland and North Ireland and staying in double figures further elsewhere.

Friday
Spells of rain through much of Scotland, particularly the north and west, to start on Friday, before moving northeastwards and offshore as the day progresses with drier and brighter weather to follow here, though showers still in the west. Windy too. The band of rain across England continues to push into eastern regions, before clearing offshore heading into the evening. Meanwhile, more rain then pushes into Wales and western parts of England as well as across Ireland and Northern Ireland. Highs at a cooler 10 to 15C.

Saturday
Another system brings more rain northwards across southern and central parts of England on Saturday, turning heavy and persistent at times. Some showers across western areas of Engand, Wales and Scotland with longer spells of rain looking to push on to western Irish coasts by late afternoon, turning heavy by evening. Elsewhere, largely dry with some sunny spells about but rather alot of cloud too. Highs at 8 to 14C.
