Sunday
A largely dry and sunny day on Sunday as high pressure ridges in over the British Isles. Plenty of sunshine for most areas although mist and fog might be stubborn toi lift over eastern parts of England. Some cloud will affect southern coasts again for a time while northern and central Scotland will see cloud thicken through the day. High temperatures generally ranging from 17 to 20C across the country and in the south of England max temperatures will be at 24C.


Sunday Night
Overnight, it will be dry for all with clear skies across much of England, Wales and southern Ireland. Patchy cloud further north. A chilly night, particularly under the clear skies with lows around 4 to 7C. Slightly milder elsewhere.

 
 
 


Monday
High pressure still the main weather feature come Monday, bringing plenty of dry and sunny conditions to most, however, northwest and central Scotland as well as northwest Ireland will see more in the way of cloud. Staying dry here through much of the morning but during the afternoon expect some patchy and mostly light rain to push into the far north and northwest. Rain to turn heavier later on. Highs at 21 to 25C in the sunshine to the south, a cooler 16 to 18C in the cloudier north.


Tuesday
A cold front pushes from northwest to southeast across the UK and Ireland on Tuesday. This will bring spells of rain to Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland in the morning, before moving into England and Wales in the afternoon. Showers across northern and western areas once front passes. Southeast England should stay dry with a good deal of sunshine throughout the day. Turning cooler with highs around 13 to 16C for many. Staying warm still in the southeast with temperatures here at 20C.
