UK Forecast - February 28, 2021
Mild and largely fine
Showery rain midweek

Monday
High pressure is centred to the east of the UK on Monday. A patchy light frost is possible in any particularly sheltered spots. Mist and fog patches should burn off through the morning. A generally dry and fine day for most with plenty of sunshine about and feeling mild too, although the far north of Scotland could see more cloud cover. Highs at 9 to 13C.

Monday Night
A largely dry and clear night across the UK and Ireland but where the cloud is thicker across the Northern Isles there could be a spot or two of light rain or drizzle here. Under the clear skies and light winds expect mist and fog patches again and a slight frost is possible across some northern and western areas. Overnight lows at 1 to 4C for most.

Tuesday
High pressure stays to the east on Tuesday. A weak area of low pressure pushes northwards towards southwest England allowing for cloud cover to thicken here and outbreaks of showery rain to push in later in the day across the southwest of England and south Wales. Elsewhere should remain dry and fine with a good amount of sunshine although the far north of Scotland and the Northern Isles will again see more cloud. Another mild day for all with highs between at 9 to 13C and reaching 14 or 15C in the southeast corner of England.

Wednesday
Pressure stays generally high through Wednesday although it will be cloudier across central and southern England including the southeast, southwest and parts of Wales with outbreaks of showery rain. Largely dry and fine elsewhere, although cloud will build across the far north of Scotland bringing the risk of some light rain andd drizzle here. Another mild day even under the cloud cover. High temperatures at 9 to 14C.
