Drizzle in west

Tuesday
Another mild day with broken cloud and sunny spells across much of central, southern and eastern England. Lower cloud affects western coasts and hills in the morning with a few spots of drizzle, although these fade in the afternoon. Breezier across Ireland, northern England and Scotland. More cloud here with some drizzle affecting western hills and coasts. Rain in western Scotland and the west of Ireland this continuing into the afternoon. Temperatures at 21C in southeast England, 13C in western Scotland.


Tuesday Night
A cloudy and drizzle night in western Scotland with some drizzle too on the northwest coasts of Ireland. Drier for other areas with clearer skies. Some low cloud and drizzle may affect southern coasts of Ireland too. Lows near 9 to 13C.

 
 
 


Wednesday
High pressure to the east of the UK on Wednesday with low pressure to the west of Ireland. A fresh to strong south to southeast flow brings warm conditions and good spells of sunshine, the best to the east and south. There could be some low cloud and drizzle affecting southern coasts of Cornwall and Devon as well as southern Ireland. Rain in the far northwest of Scotland clearing to the north as fronts move away. Temperatures at 23C in southeast England, 17C in northern Scotland.


Thursday
A cold front passing eastwards through the country on Thursday. There wil be cloud and rain in western areas in the morning whilst the east will be dry with sunny spells. The afternoon sees rain in eastern areas as brighter weather follows through Ireland and the west of the UK. Temperatures rising to 22C in southeast England but cooler weather arrives from the west behind the front with tops of 12 to 15C.
