Milder for most today but coldest in the east of England. A cloudy, very windy day to come across the United Kingdom as outbreaks of moderate to heavy rain across Scotland spread quickly south to most parts of the country through the morning with snow over high ground. At first this may be preceded by snow across East Anglia and the south east. The heavier rain clears the south by the afternoon but it will stay misty and murky with rain and drizzle across Britain. Expect highs of 5 to 10 Celsius.

The winds moderate this evening and it remains cloudy with spells of rain and drizzle, though turning dry across Northern Ireland and eastern England. The rain persist in the north and the west into the night with a dry night with a frost possible across East Anglia and the south east along with the East Midlands. Minimum temperatures of 2 to 7 Celsius but near freezing across East Anglia and the south east.


Monday
Colder today across England with it remaining mildest in the north. Some rain to come across northern England, The Midlands, Wales and the south west through the day. Eastern parts of England tend to stay dry but rather cloudy. Later in the day some rain edges into western Scotland and Northern Ireland. Overnight some patchy rain lingers around some western areas. Frosty across East Anglia and the south east tonight. Expect top temperatures of 4 to 8 Celsius.


Tuesday
Cold across the south with a frost to start the day across East Anglia and the south east. Here expect some good sunny spells today. More cloudy across the rest of Britain with patchy rain and drizzle in the west. In the afternoon much of this tends to die away. Dry into the evening and night. With more in the way of clear spells, a frost is likely to develop tonight across eastern parts of England. Look for high temperatures of 3 to 8 Celsius.
