Wednesday
Some showers in southeast England this morning, these fading for a time. However, the showers will re-develop this afternoon. Sunny spells elsewhere with showers developing during the morning, becoming heavier this afternoon in central and eastern areas. drier and brighter in the west with good spells og sunshine persisting in the west. Cloud and some showers in Scotland. Scattered showers through Ireland with some sunny spells too. Highs at 10C in northern Scotland, 17C in the south.


Wednesday Night
Further showers in eastern England and eastern Scotland in the evening, these fading and then dry overnight. Increasing cloud through Ireland and the west of the UK. Rain and strong winds arrive in Ireland through the early hours and then southwest England by daybreak. Lows at 5 to 8C.
 


Thursday
A deep area of low pressure west of Ireland on Thursday. Wind and rain spread east with severe gales in western areas in the morning. Heavy periods of rain in the morning too in western areas, heavy showers following into Ireland. Drier in the east in the morning, although rain arrives here in the afternoon. Heavier showers reaching the west of England as Wales. Wetter in northern parts of Ireland and southern Ireland as well as the far north of England. Windy, gales in western areas. Tending to become drier in central and southern England in the afternoon. Highs at 11 to 15C.


Friday
Low pressure will be drifting slowly across northern England on Friday. Periods of heavy rain in northern England and Scotland. Heavy showers and plenty of cloud through Ireland where it remains windy. Further showers for England and Wales, these again heavy at times. Drier in more southern areas with some bright or sunny spells here. Highs at 9 to 13C.
