Morning mist and fog patches in central and southern England and Wales. These slowly clearing to leave the weather dry with sunny spells for many. Cloudier skies further north with a front bringing some patchy rain and drizzle, together with mist and murk in southern Scotland and northern England as well as Northern Ireland. Temperatures reaching 6 to 8C in many areas, 9C in western Scotland and northern and western parts of Ireland.


Tuesday Night
Skies will be clearer through central and southern areas of the country tonight, this allowing for a frost and fog patches developing. Thicker cloud in northern England and Scotland as well as Ireland. Some spots of rain and drizzle in southwest Scotland and Northern Ireland where it will be misty and murky too. Lows at 0C in the far south of England, 5C in northern areas.


Wednesday
High pressure extends through the UK and Ireland, a warm front passing eastwards over northern Scotland. Any morning mist and fog patches in England, Wales and eastern Scotland should clear to leave a dry day with broken cloud and some bright or sunny spells here and there. Thicker cloud in northern and western Scotland with some drizzle in the northwest. Highs at 7 to 10C.
 


Thursday
Pressure remains high on Thursday which allows for mist and fog patches in the morning. These slowly lifting to leave broken cloud and dry weather with bright or sunny spells. Breezier in Scotland, a cold front close to northwest Scotland bringing periods of showery rain here. Temperatures at 7 to 10C.
