Wednesday
High pressure remains in control on Wednesday giving an east to southeast flow. It will be feeling mild in the sunny spells, the best of which will be in the east. A few showers may develop over the Home Counties, extending into the Midlands and southern England as well as Wales through the afternoon. Bright for most though with further spells of sunshine and highs at 11 or 12C in the east, mostly 14 to 18C.


Wednesday Night
A dry but overcast night for most from Wednesday into Thursday. A few light showers may develop over the northern half of Scotland. Breezy in the far northeast and southwest. Overnight lows falling to around 5 to 8C for most.

 
 
 


Thursday
High pressure brings mostly dry weather through Thursday but with a fair amount of cloud. The risk of an afternoon shower over northwestern England and southwestern Scotland. The best of any sunny spells will be found in the west of Ireland and eastern parts of England. Temperatures at 13 or 14C on eastern coasts, more widely 15 to 19C.
 


Friday
A ridge of high pressure extends from Scandinavia across the British Isles on Friday. It will be a dry day with a mixture of sunny spells and cloudy skies. The best of the brightness will be over eastern areas. Highs at 13 to 14C on eastern coasts, more widely 17 to 21C.
