Thursday
A chilly morning across much of the country today. There will be cloud across East Anglia and southern England and a few spots of rai here too. Eastern coasts of Scotland and northeast England may have some cloud at first, although this dispersing during the morning. Sunny across much of northern and western parts of the country and staying dry here throughout the day. It is going to be feeling warm in these sunnier areas, especially the west. Highs at 11C on the cooler eastern coast, 18C in some sheltered western areas.

Thursday Night
Staying cloudy and breezy across southeastern parts of the country tonight. There will be some spots of light rain and drizzle once again. More northern and western areas are going to be dry with clearer skies, although some low cloud may drift into northeast Scotland at times. Breezy with lows at 4 to 8C.
 

Friday
A large area of high pressure remains to the north of Scotland on Friday. The fresh northeasterly flow persists through all areas. Indications are that there is likely to be more sunshine in southern and southeastern areas than on recent days, although a higher chance of cloud over coasts of northeast England and eastern Scotland. Cloud too in the far southwest of England and southern Scotland. Elsewhere it will be brighter with plenty of sunshine. Highs at 11C in northeast England, 17C in western Wales and western Scotland.

Saturday
Lower pressure brushes southern areas on Saturday with high pressure to the north. The mains easterly flow persists as fronts edge into southern England. These bring rain to the far south of Ireland, southern Wales and southern counties of England. Probably more cloud than recent days across much of the rest of the UK and Ireland, although the best of any sunshine is likely in northern and western Scotland. Highs at 12 to 15C and a cooler day overall for most.
