Thursday
Thursday sees a drier day for England, Wales and much of Ireland with sunny spells for a time, although some showers cannot be ruled out. Showers as well as longer spells of rain across Scotland and Northern Ireland. Through the day cloud will thicken across much of Ireland as well as Wales and southwest England ahead of a developing area of low pressure tracking east through the Celtic Sea. This will bring rain to these parts later on. Highs generally between 16 to 21C although cooler for some and slightly warmer in the far southeast.

Thursday Night
Overnight, outbreaks of rain, some heavy, will spread across Wales and central and southern England. Winds will strengthen for a time too. Drier further north but showers will affect regions closer to the coasts while inland areas look to stay largely dry. A band of rain will push southeastwards down Ireland. Lows at 9 to 14C.
 

Friday
Outbreaks of rain on Friday across Wales and much of England will gradually clear from the west, allowing sunny spells but also showers to develop behind. Winds will also be rather blustery. More rain will push into western Ireland and Northern Ireland through the day after a reasonably dry morning. A mostly dry start for Scotland but showers and longer spells of rain will soon push through here. Highs at 15 to 21C, cooler in the cloud and rain in England and across northern Scotland.

Saturday
Pressure will continue to be relatively low on Saturday, albeit a weak ridge does start to build in the west. Some heavy showers developing across England and Wales. Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland should be mostly dry and bright, although a few showers could affect eastern regions. Highs at 14C in northern Scotland, 23C in southern England.
