Friday
Outbreaks of rain on Friday across east Ireland, Wales and much of England will gradually clear from the west and strong winds should ease off, allowing sunny spells and drier conditions but also some blustery showers to develop behind. Heavy showers will push into western Ireland and Northern Ireland through the day after a reasonably and mostly dry morning. Mostly dry for Scotland but showery rain looks to affect southern and eastern regions as the day progresses. Highs at 16 to 21C, cooler in the cloud and rain in England.

Friday Night
Overnight, rain across eastern parts of England and Scotland will gradually clear offshore and just affect more coastal areas by morning. Winds will also continue to ease. A west to north-westerly wind flow will bring showers to northern and western coasts and hills and pull some further inland, however, it should be mostly dry elsewhere. Lows at 8 to 13C.
 

Saturday
Pressure will continue to be relatively low on Saturday, albeit a weak ridge does start to build in the north and west behind a front that pushes south. Expect cloud and outbreaks of rain across northern and central regions of England including Wales. Heavy showers developing across southwest and central southern counties of England. Scotland and Ireland should be mostly dry and bright, although one or two showers cannot be completely ruled out. Highs at 15 to 22C although cooler across northern Scotland.

Sunday
A north-westerly flow is expected to affect all areas on Sunday as a cold front pushes down England and Wales bringing cloud and outbreaks of rain here. Rain will become confined to the far south through the afternoon. Meanwhile, a ridge of higher pressure will bring drier and brighter conditions to Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland. Highs at a chilly 13C in northern Scotland, 21C in southern England, for most highs between 15 and 20C.
