Wednesday
A fair start to this morning for many with some good spells of sunshine. Thickening cloud will be being blow in by fronts over Ireland and these will be giving rain. The rain could be heavy at times this morning, eventually reaching western Scotland by lunchtime. Western Wales and the far northwest and southwest of England are likely to have rain and drizzle by this evening. Staying dry elsewhere with the sunshine becoming more hazy. Highs at 25C in the sunshine in eastern England, 19C in Ireland.

Wednesday Night
The rain area edges east tonight to be through Scotland an much of the west of the UK by midnight. It then progresses slowly eastwards, becoming lighter and more patchy, although probably not reaching the far southeast. Drier weather moves into western Scotland and most of Ireland as well as the west of England and Wales later in the night. A few showers over the coasts of western Ireland and western Scotland. Lows at 9C in the west, 16C in eastern England.

Thursday
A cold front over eastern England gives some showery outbreaks of rain early on Thursday, although this will be clearing east by the afternoon. Some heavy showers in central and western Scotland as well as Ireland, these merging to longer spells of rain at times in Scotland. Elsewhere there will be sunny spells and a scattering of showers, most in the west. A fresher day, especially in the west with temperatures at 18 to 23C.

Friday
Low pressure west of Ireland will be west of Ireland on Friday. Fronts will be bringing cloud and raion to much of Ireland, Wales and into southwest England. Other parts of England should be dry and bright with sunny spells, although some heavy showers will be affecting Scotland. Temperatures reaching 22C in the east, 18 to 20C in the west.
