Friday
A frontal band of cloud and rain sinks southeastwards down the country on Friday. In the morning, rain will affect Ireland, Northern Ireland and many parts of Scotland moving into west Wales and northwest England by midday. Sunny spells and scattered showers to follow. The rain goes on to affect the rest of England and Wales through the afternoon though many in the far south look remain largely dry. A breezy day for many though winds easing later. High at 14 to 21C though cooler under the cloud and rain.


Friday Night
Overnight, rain clears southeastern areas of England. A mostly dry night elsewhere with clear spells though a few scattered showers look to affect parts of Scotland, Northern Ireland and around the coastal areas of Wales. Lows at 5 to 10C.

 
 
 


Saturday
High pressure builds on Saturday allowing for a largely dry and fine day with sunny spells about, though some developing showers cannot be ruled out. Cloud does look to thicken across Ireland, Northern Ireland and western parts of Scotland later. Highs near 10 to 12C on the cooler east coast, 17 to 20C in the south and west.
 


Sunday
The area of high pressure drifts east on Sunday. A south to southwest flow brings cloud across Ireland and much of Scotland, some rain and drizzle affecting western coasts and hills here. The hills across southwest England could also see variable cloud and drizzle. Dry elsewhere with some sunny spells, best in the east. Highs at 15 to 22C.
