Monday
An area of low pressure moves in from the west and will bring cloudier skies and outbreaks of rain once again to much of Ireland, Northern Ireland and northwest Scotland. Largely cloudy skies with possible patchy light rain and drizzle for western parts of Wales and western regions of England too, but longer sunny spells are expected further east where it will be feeling pleasantly warm in light winds. Highs range from 8C in western Ireland to 16C in southeast England. Most will see high temperatures of 12 to 14C.

Monday night
Overnight outbreaks of rain spread across Ireland while a band of rain edges over the northwestern half of Scotland reaching western parts of the central belt by morning. Elsewhere it's a dry night but with increasing cloud over northwestern parts of England and Wales. Clearer skies further southeast. Overnight lows widely range from 4 to 9C, a few degrees cooler in more rural spots.

Tuesday
Tuesday sees a weakening front pushing southeastward over Scotland and Ireland and into northern parts of England and Wales. For many this will manifest as cloud but there will be some patchy rain associated with this feature too. Becoming cooler and brighter across Scotland and Ireland as the front passes. Staying milder ahead of the front with some good spells of sunshine for southeast England. Highs at 8 to 11C across much of Ireland and Scotland, 12 to 16C for much of England and Wales.

Wednesday
A cloudy day for central and southern parts of England and Wales as well as for the far south of Ireland. Some patchy outbreaks of light rain affecting these areas too as a weak front extends across the area. Brighter and dry to the north of this with good spells of sunshine for Scotland, northern and eastern England and northern Ireland. Highs at 8 or 9C on eastern coasts, more widely reaching 11 to 15C.
