Monday
Low pressure to the southeast on Monday brings a wet start to the day here. Elsewhere should be brighter with just the odd isolated shower. Showers intensifying through the afternoon and spreading across central and southern England into Wales while heavy rain will spread northward along the coasts of Lincolnshire and Yorkshire. Heavy showers too for parts of Scotland and Ireland, south Wales and the West Midlands. Showers developing through the afternoon are likely to be thundery in nature. High temperatures typically at 13 to 18C, warmest in the west.

Monday Night
Showers will ease into Monday night but heavy rain will persist for much of England and Wales. The heaviest rain overnight for northern and western parts of England. Clearer skies to the north and west and staying mostly dry across Ireland and Scotland. Overnight lows mostly from 5 to 10C, milder in parts of the southeast.
 

Tuesday
Higher pressure to the northwest of Scotland on Tuesday. Lower pressure over southeast England bringing cloud and rain, some of it heavy and thundery. Some heavy bursts of rain for southwestern, western and northern parts of England, Wales and into eastern Ireland. Scattered showers for southeastern England and eastern Scotland. Drier in northern and western areas where there will be some sunshine. A breezy day too away from the southeast. Highs at 10C in northern Scotland, 17C in southeastern England.

Wednesday
Higher pressure to the northwest of Scotland on Wednesday. Lower pressure to the southeast will bring rain across England, Wales, much of the island of Ireland and, later, into southeastern Scotland. Some very heavy bursts are possible for the northern part of the Midlands and the northeast of England. Dry but mostly overcast and breezy for much of Scotland and northwestern Ireland. Highs at 10 to 19C.
