A bright start to the morning for most of central nd southern England. A few showers affecting western coasts and hills. Some thicker cloud and outbreaks of showery rain in Scotland and northern England as well as Northern Ireland, this falling as snow over the hills. The showers slipping into northern England and Wales in the afternoon as cloud increases through Ireland and southwest England. Turning weter in the far southwest later. Brighter for much of Scotland in the afternoon with good spells of sunshine developing, although feeling cold here. Highs at 4 to 8C.

Sunday Night
A dry start to the night across much of the UK. Some clear spells in the east and the risk of a touch of frost here and a few fog patches too. Increasing cloud in the west bringing rain through Ireland and into the west of Wales and southwest England. This cloud and drizzle edges eastwards during the night, most western areas murky and drizzly by morning. Lows at 2 to 5C.

Monday
A warm front is going to be edging into the west of the UK through Monday. This brings plenty of cloud and some drizzle, mostly over western, southern and central coasts and hills. Most persistent rain in western Scotland, patchier rain in central and eastern Scotland. More drizzle and rain in western Ireland, drier, cloudier and misty in the east. eastern parts of England may see early mist and fog patches, these clearing and becoming brighter. Highs at 6 to 8C for most.

Tuesday
A weak front trails through England and Wales as well as the south of Ireland on Tuesday. This brings cloud and much drizzle and patchy rain. Hill and coastal fog is likely. Sunnier for north and west Wales, northern England, Northern Ireland and much of Scotland. A few showers may affect western Scotland. Highs at 5 to 7C for most, 10C in southwest England.
